Amphora Connect is delighted to welcome Kaspa’s to its growing customer network, providing business broadband connectivity for the brand’s new dessert parlour at Turnstone Leisure Park in north Colchester.
Founded in 2012, Kaspa’s has grown from a single dessert venue into an internationally recognised brand with more than 100 locations, serving its signature range of waffles, crepes, milkshakes, sundaes and desserts to customers across the UK and beyond.

We’re delighted to welcome Colchester Travel to the Amphora Connect’s Colchester business broadband network.
Located on Crouch Street in the heart of Colchester, Colchester Travel is the city’s longest-established family-owned independent travel agency, having served local customers for many years with expert travel advice and personalised service.
ACE Comics
We’re delighted to welcome ACE Comics Colchester to the Amphora Connect network. Situated on Culver Street East in the heart of Colchester, ACE Comics is one of the UK’s longest-established suppliers of comic books, graphic novels and cult merchandise, serving generations of customers and collectors from across Essex and beyond.
As a well-known fixture in the town centre, ACE Comics has built a loyal customer base over many years, serving everyone from dedicated collectors and hobbyists to newcomers discovering the world of comics for the first time.

CURZON Cinema
We are delighted to have assisted Curzon Cinemas and their connectivity partner, RHM Telecommunications, with the installation of a new fibre circuit to deliver content at ultrafast speeds to the cinema’s Theatre Management System.
The new circuit has provided a fifty-fold increase in speed over the previous, obsolete DSL solution. RHM Telecommunications works with a variety of leading cinema brands in the UK. Curzon Colchester is a three-screen boutique cinema and a key feature of the regeneration of the Queen Street area.
iStore
We are very pleased to welcome Colchester’s new flagship iStore to our gigabit network as our most recent new adopter. This was a challenging installation with access challenges, which we enabled using a hybrid fibre-radio deployment. The premises has been upgraded from substandard copper-based connectivity to full gigabit, greatly enhancing its operations and customer-facing services.
Ipswich Museums
We are pleased to have been chosen to provide gigabit connectivity to the Ipswich Museums. The Art School and Gallery has been completed, with a brand new internal WiFi and ethernet network, as well as new fibre to the premises. This provides a huge uplift to the building as part of its ongoing renovation. We will be deploying a new network to the main Museums building in due course and are developing proposals to bring fibre to Christchurch Mansion additionally.
Colchester Castle & Castle Park
A very challenging fibre installation that we are very proud to have been able to connect Colchester Castle and Colchester Park to our fibre network. Colchester Castle is in fact the first public building in the city to have 10Gbps broadband connection and the basis for upcoming local 5g network for exciting tourist attractions.
Colchester Makerspace
We are delighted to welcome Colchester Makerspace to our gigabit network. The new connection provides a significant uplift for one of the city centre’s most unusual businesses. Located at Trinity Works (just behind the Patch cafe), Makerspace provides access to ceramics and printmaking equipment, such as kilns, silkscreens, pottery wheels and a risograph. It also runs a wide-ranging programme of arts and crafts workshops, classes and events.
Black Sheep Coffee
We have provided fibre connectivity to one of the newest coffee shops in the City centre, Black Sheep Coffee.
We worked with Black Sheep’s IT provider to deliver the connection, under very tight deadlines and opening schedule, on time. They are found at Culver Square right in the heart of the busy shopping area.
